When Annie and Stubbs came into camp, they each had severe behavioral problems and yet very different problems. Annie was a very sad case. She was very withdrawn, aggressively reactive, very shy with no confidence, didn't know what to do or how to do it but if she could get close to a person she would just cling to him or her. Stubbs on the other hand had more than enough "confidence". He knew just what he could do and did it any time he wanted, Somewhat of a bully, he looked for trouble everywhere. Reactively aggressive, he had no problem with taking a quick flea nip bite whenever fingers were waved in his face. Somewhat attitude ridden if he could get close to a person, he would pretty much lift his leg and pee on him or her.

When Annie came in she had an extreme fear of thunderstorms, loud noises, etc. She tore up the above chain link fence gate in about 15 minutes - she had to learn to trust crates and Stubbs helped her a great deal.

When Annie and Stubbs met it took a while for them to warm up to each other. They have helped each other throughout their stay. Annie kind of levels Stubbs out and helps him keep his paws on the ground by reminding him that he doesn't know everything and Stubbs helps Annie with her confidence level. Learning from him, she is getting less and less scared of everything and more able to listen and learn.
