The boys came in from south Florida together. They have been working very hard and doing very well since they have been here - such hard work all they could do at first was yawn.

When Bogart came in he would reactively bite with no thought, no restraint or regret - since he is basically a good natured guy - I worked on the belief that he just didn't know better.

The video of the no biting exercise is short but the lessons are continuous on this issue - below are several videos of his "no grabbing" lessons - the reactive biting and the reactive grabbing behaviors are closely linked and definitely contribute to each behavior's intensity - the below videos have been hard on both of us. They are long, loud and counter reactive but the boy is getting it and his behavior continuously becomes less reactive.

during their play they must remember to play quietly (no barking and such) or they can't play.
Bogart was very withdrawn when we first began their "outside, play nice" exercises. Zeus got into it pretty quick. It took Bogart longer but he really does want to socialize and is getting better and better.
Below to the right is Zeus's video outside playing with the girls.
He loves it. His aggression problem is greatly improved.

When Bogart came in he had a very negative reaction to being called to come inside - the videos began several weeks into teaching him to trust coming to me when called. His first reaction was to lay down and roll over - this is an extreme apprehensive behavior however can be misread as a rub my belly behavior when in fact is a very distrustful posturing.
When beginning to rehab this distrust, I would not approach him directly, I would give him the opportunity to change the cowering behavior and come to me rather than me approaching him - it is working very well - he is working very hard. The video to the right shows his trust building very nicely.

and is getting better and better at i.t
