Working through veterinarian referrals, Tanya actively promotes and teaches behavioral concepts to her clients throughout the nation. Having established Partners & Protectors, Inc. in 1980 she focuses on inside the home rules, manners, respect and deference which involves the entire family in environmental and natural cause and effect teaching and/or re-teaching. Her work and her behavioral research involves the study and direct interaction between humans and canines (as well as other companion animals) in practical living situations. As Authority on Species Interactive Behavior, Tanya has studied, evaluated and developed behavioral teaching and rehabilitative problem solving procedures since 1980. She has taken hundreds of hours of seminar and field related studies, including 100 hours of investigative policies and procedures for animal related issues. Since 1985 she has been an expert witness in the Hillsborough County Court System on canine behavior and is heavily involved in teaching legal, moral, as well as ethical aspects of companion animal ownership. As Instructor of Species Interactive Behavior*, Tanya has developed and teaches public education programs and Behavioral workshops to groups, organizations and individuals including but not limited to the general public, Veterinarian Technicians, Police, Animal Control Facilities, Hillsborough County Veterinarian Association, Florida Association of Behavior Analysis, School Board of Pasco County, School Board of Brevard County and more. She holds copyrights on interactive behavioral teachings and public education programs ranging from the 30 or 45 minute "Help Chomp Proof Children*" programs to eight (8) hour Species Interactive Behavior* seminars. Volunteering her time, Tanya has devoted countless hours towards working with her dogs in the area of scent discrimination. She founded Tracking and Cadaver Recovery to provide an asset for law enforcement searches involving missing / missing presumed dead. All her training, evaluations and certifications have been through Law Enforcement Training Specialists, International (L.E.T.S.). Tanya is L.E.T.S civilian liaison and Advisor to the Board of this organization.She is also Instructor for cadaver recovery Instructor hours.
